ARIS DEFENDER 3000 - SONAR

The ARIS Defender 3000 is a high-resolution, diver-held imaging sonar designed for military, law enforcement, port security and professional underwater operations. Combining target detection and identification in a single system, the Defender 3000 delivers real-time, video-like sonar imagery in black, turbid and zero-visibility water, enabling operators to conduct critical underwater missions where conventional optical systems are ineffective.

Designed as a versatile 2-in-1 sonar platform, the Defender 3000 can be rapidly converted into the ARIS Explorer 3000 by removing the flotation shell and handle, providing a 300 m depth-rated sonar suitable for deployment on ROVs, AUVs, vessels and fixed installations. The system features dual-frequency operation, autonomous battery power and optional topside supervision, making it ideal for military diving, search and recovery, hull inspections, harbour security and underwater infrastructure inspections.
