Seacraft submersibles

are designed to put cutting-edge technology, in a simple, robust and lightweight devices. Based on long development and testing in most hostile natural environments – underwater caves, fl ooded mines, freezing water and great depths, we created a revolutionary propulsion concept. Extreme power, high comfort and intuitive operation necessary there was enhanced by features and solutions crucial to gain an advantage in modern warfare. This is how Seacraft military line was born and developed together with the best special forces operators in the world.

Our products are designed to be lighter, faster, and simpler that everything existing on the market. Combining intuitive driving with simple service protocols, and long no-maintenance intervals we minimize amount of training required and operational cost.

Series of unique features
  • Engine working in full water immersion
  • Magnetic propulsion
  • Extremely silent work
  • Zero-torque (post swirl stator)
  • Built-in control screen
  • Custom-designed electronics
  • External charging socket
  • Asymmetric and sealed battery
  • Dual-scooters coupling possibilities
  • Dead reckoning navigation system, with GPS-recalibration
  • High speed driving hydrodynamic shielded DPCSeries

Magnetic propulsion
Engine working in full immersion

Seacraft created the first submersible in the world, in which the motor runs directly in the water. Specially designed and patented solution allows for complete elimination
of the drive shaft and the need for unreliable seals and gear transmission used in other DPVs. The motor working in the water is much more durable and resistant to workload
and as it is directly water cooled, completely eliminates overheating inside the scooter.

Simple and robust solution solves major fl aws of other scooters, providing:

  • Silent and covert operation, due to elimination of transmission systems. BLAC engine steering removes also electromagnetic noise.
  • Maximum power output without overheating, even on prolonged time.
  • Long maintenance-free periods, easy and simple servicing.
  • No risk of fl ooding of scooter’s interior.
  • Extreme weight reduction, allowing to pack power of “old construction” 27 kg scooter, into 16 kg ready-to-dive unit.

Zero torque
Post-swirl stator

Torque effect is natural consequence of propeller’s rotating action, what causes water stream to swirl, and creates turning force on scooter handle what increases diver’s fatigue.

Inspired by jet-engines construction, Seacraft developed post-swirl stator system, which interacts with propeller slipstream, changing it’s swirl to net thrust. This allows
to completely eliminate torque effect, and simultaneously increase propulsion system efficiency, due to recovering usually lost water swirl rotation force.

Control screen

OLED screen displays in covert red colour all important for the operator information – current gear, battery charge level, remaining burntime, and trigger time.

Double-handed ergonomic steering handle with two triggers allows to drive scooter using one, or both hands. Pre-defi ned “double tap” functionalities provide instant max speed acceleration when needed

One-handed control allows to fullt control Seacraft scooters with one hand – including changing speed, and activating the engine.

Working efficiency
All elements of the drive system – engine, propeller, propelling nozzle and post-swirl stator were precisely designed taking into account speed and load parameters divers encounter under the water. Three-phase motor, as the only one on the market, is steered with BLAC algorithm, which minimizes energy consumption. Seacraft devices have exceptional work efficiency and consume even up to half the energy required for propulsion than competing devices.

Seacraft's DPCis one of the fi rst submersibles with fully modeled and designed for the diver hydrodynamic shielding – which dramatically reduces diver's drag and water resistance, allowing for very long range with high speed.

Power management
External charging socket allows for quick recharging of scooter, without need to open the unit.

Battery construction is based on hard-welded cells, with asymmetric weight distribution. This results with handles-up position underwater, which provides easier and more intuitive operation. Battery sealed construction protects it from damages if contacted with water. It can be easily replaced for a new one, or charged outside of scooter.

Seacraft scooter uses the latest generation of lithium-ion batteries, characterized by very high capacity, high efficiency, resistance to harsh environments and fast charging times. Built-in internal battery control system provides constant multi-level protection and cell balancing. Optional Ni-Mh batteries can be installed for special applications.

Fast recharging time is provided, with the standard battery version not exceeding 2-3 hours for full charge.

Trimming system provides neutral buoyancy in all water salinities. It can be also configured to have negative, or positive buoyant scooter. Additionally available external trimming system allows for easy helicopter drop handling.
