Jetboots Navigation DT2 - Dive tablet
The Jetboots Navigation Kit offers an advanced, integrated underwater navigation and system-management upgrade for the Jetboots Diver Propulsion System. Designed for elite maritime operations, the system integrates seamlessly with the Dive Tablet 2 platform from Shark Marine Technologies Inc., allowing diver operators to monitor and control their propulsion system via a ruggedised tablet interface. With real-time power usage data, mission-distance tracking and depth & direction monitoring, this upgrade transforms the diver’s situational awareness and efficiency underwater.
Key Features
Real-time monitoring of available power based on speed/power consumption, enabling the diver to dynamically adapt their mission profile.
Automatic calculation of remaining time and distance to a pre-programmed destination, enhancing mission planning and safety.
Real-time depth and direction display, giving the operator immediate situational awareness underwater terrain and trajectory.
Multiple diver-kit configuration programming for accurate speed and performance display tailored to the operator’s load-out.
A dedicated Jetboots control-box interface that communicates with the Dive Tablet 2 and integrates with legacy Jetboots systems – allowing upgradeability of existing units.
Rugged tablet: Dimensions approx. 32.76 cm × 18.57 cm × 9.57 cm, weight ~3.21 kg (dry), ~0.57 kg in water when submerged.
Internal battery for approx. 3 hours of operation, optional hot-swappable external batteries providing up to 20 hours.
Operational Advantages for Australian Maritime Environments
In Australia’s diverse maritime environment – from shallow coastal waters and remote islands to offshore infrastructure and tactical maritime operations – the Jetboots Navigation Kit brings the next level of diver propulsion system intelligence. Giving operators improved capability including:
Enhanced operational endurance and safety via real-time power and distance tracking, reducing mission risk.
Improved accuracy of underwater navigation and positioning – critical in offshore platforms, remote waters and under-shared infrastructure.
Compatibility with low-logistics, high-mobility dive operations, making it a strong fit for defence, special forces, marine search & rescue, and inspection teams working in remote Australian waters.
Supplier support offering local supply, service, spares and training for Australian customers.
